Snow Day!

Yesterday was a snow day for me, which meant a day off school and work, due to getting 26 cm of snow only from one storm! This was our second big 20+ cm storm in four days! I definitely enjoyed it and my little dog, Jasper, enjoyed it too. I didn't get any pictures of him playing in the snow but I'll try to get some next time! Mean while, check out the makeup look I created that day!

I created a look for everyday that was easy enough to do and looks good on every skin tone and any eye colour! This is one of my favorite looks to create for school, work, or everyday life!

I used a bronze eyeshadow all over the lid, then a deeper brown in the crease and blend until visible lines become a gradient. Then I added a sparkly beige in the inner corner and on the brow bone. The beige isn't so opaque so its a great highlight that won't add too much shimmer to the look.

Eyeliner: Marcelle Liquid liner pen
The mascara I used was Makeupforever Smokey Extravagant mascara

My Lipliner: Pupa True Lips #27 My lipstick is Maybelline Vivids #900 Hot Plum

Foundation and concealer: MakeupForever N120 and #2 concealer
Bronzer: Physician's Formula Bronze Booster Light-Medium

Favorite thing about winter: Gingerbread Hot Chocolate from Tim Hortons!

Snowed in!

I may do a review on some of the products used in this look, so watch for that!

Welcome to My New Beauty Blog!

Welcome to my blog!
If you've come to this blog then chances are you're looking to learn about the skin, how it works and how to treat it. What products you should be using and what products/ingredients you should be staying away from. I will post product reviews and first impressions as well as posting monthly favorites, hits or misses, and small tutorials.

I am in the midst of creating this blog because I am always stopped and asked about what to do about certain skin types or problems, how to properly cleanse the skin, how to not agitate the skin so conditions don't worsen, also how to apply eyeliner in such a way, or use different colours of eyeshadow to create a certain look, and my opinion in general on certain products. I find myself constantly talking about these things and explaining certain techniques to many different people, so why not share it with everyone via a blog! So I hope you will be able to find what you need here in this blog and if there are any questions or requests for posts don't hesitate to contact me! :)
